Some of the best afternoons don't need a reason. They just need good people, something a little out of the ordinary, and enough room for three generations to sit at the same table and actually enjoy each other.
That's what we're putting together at The Gardens on Quail on Friday, June 5, from 3 to 5 PM — and we'd love for you and your family to be part of it.
We've spent weeks tracking down 99 different root beers from around the world — small-batch sarsaparillas, regional favorites you've probably never heard of, a few you grew up on, and a handful that come in bottles so unusual you'll want to keep them. Each one is numbered. Each one comes with a rating card. You walk through, sip what catches your eye, and rank your favorites.
It's a tasting flight, a memory exercise, and a conversation starter all at once. Grandkids end up arguing with grandpa about which one tastes the most like the A&W stand he remembers. Daughters compare notes with their moms. Everyone leaves with a new favorite — and usually a few strong opinions.
Beyond the bottles, we're rounding out the afternoon with:
Bring the family, bring an appetite for nostalgia, and bring your opinions — we'll have plenty of root beer to hold up to them. RSVP isn't required, but it helps us plan. Give us a call at (303) 456-1500 or drop us a note to let us know you're coming.
We'll see you on the 5th.
